The Supplier Diversity Local Exchange Accelerator is an experiential workforce and supply chain training program that addresses local content implementation across industries (i.e. manufacturing, construction, maritime, offshore wind, solar, hydrogen, transportation, etc.).
Participants gain valuable insights into their own leadership skills, gain direct experience through real-world business scenarios, and advance manufacturers’ supply chain goals.
Expansive infrastructure and development projects are incentivized within disadvantaged communities (i.e. HUBZone, Opportunity Zones, Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) etc.) nationally by way of tax benefits, new zoning provisions, and government funding that many times is provided to large non-local enterprises. Residents and small business owners within these areas need their "equitable seat" at the economic table. Our accelerator ensures that all stakeholders exceed the economic benefits of such investments. This includes exceeding local content requirements for developers/government and creating tangible lived experiences for local residents to create lasting economic opportunities.
