Engineering Equity For All ™

(C4) Conferences Create Careers + Contracts is our business development mentoring program that fast-tracks industry entry and participation for local, small, and diverse businesses.

International and national industry conferences, expos, and summits provide world-class education, training, and networking opportunities. The excitement and energy of these industry events create the spark that can shift an individual’s and/or firm’s professional trajectory for a lifetime.

When an industry conference doesn’t include representation from small/diverse businesses, the industry can’t meet local content requirements (LCR) to acquire and/or retain large-scale contracts. Local Content, or Local Content Requirements (LCR), are policies imposed by governments and industries that require industry to use domestically manufactured goods, services, local workforce, and deploy community benefits investments to improve the quality of life of residents in order to operate in an economy.

Our team of Local Content business development professional experts provides 40 hours of direct group business coaching for local small/diverse businesses to prepare them to maximize participation in national/international industry conferences. We also reduce the financial barriers associated with industry conferences (e.g., registration fees, hotels, collateral business material, etc.). At each conference, our trained cohort is assigned an industry liaison as their direct conference business coach to guide them throughout the conference and post-conference follow-up.
